SI Screw

Placing a sacroiliac or trans-sacral screw can be a very challenging procedure and is one where errors can have dramatic impact to the patient. As residents progress to more advanced skills and are looking to get experience before they see these cases in the OR, practice on a simulator first is a must. Learning how to adjust wire trajectory in the oblique planes of inlet and outlet views is something that can and should be done in a lab, not in the OR. With this module, residents can hone in their skills so they are safe and feel confident when they enter the OR.
